How to use Diamond FX face paint

Activate the paint with a little clean water. Mist the surface with a spray bottle, or use a damp, well-squeezed sponge or brush. Clean water keeps colours bright and true - use a water pot and refresh the water between colours.

Tips for a professional result

• Use the right brushes. The FBFX Face Paint Brushes are designed specifically for water-activated paint with soft synthetic bristles that leave no fluff. For detail work and line art, reach for the FBFX Round Brushes.
• Use the right sponge. For large areas, work with a Yellow Face Paint Sponge. Latex foam sponges are not suitable for water-activated face paint.
• Keep your water clean. A water pot with fresh water next to your workspace stops colours muddying or losing their brightness.
• Barrier layer for sensitive skin or intense colours. Apply a thin layer of Marley Skin beforehand. This barrier makes removal easier and prevents staining from intense pigments.

How to remove Diamond FX face paint

Remove with a mild, non-moisturising soap and cool to lukewarm water. Hot water opens the pores and lets pigment sink deeper into the skin - avoid it. Work the soap in gently and rinse thoroughly. Repeat until all the paint is gone.

Large temperature changes during storage or transport can cause the wax to expand and contract, leading to surface cracks. They usually disappear once you start using the paint. There is no effect on quality or shelf life.

Is Diamond FX safe for children?

Can you apply Diamond FX over other colours?
