How to use Diamond FX face paint

Activate the paint with a small amount of clean water. Mist the surface lightly with a spray bottle, or use a well-squeezed sponge or damp brush. Clean water keeps your colours bright and true - use a water tub and refresh the water between colours.

Tips for a professional result

• Use the right brushes. The FBFX Face Paint Brushes are designed specifically for water-activated face paint with soft synthetic fibres that don't leave bristles behind. For detail work and fine lines, reach for the FBFX Round Face Paint Brushes.
• Use the right sponge. For large areas, use a Yellow Face Paint Sponge. Latex foam sponges are not suitable for water-activated face paint.
• Keep your water clean. A tub of clean water next to your kit prevents colours from muddying or looking dull.
• Barrier layer for sensitive skin or intense colours. Apply a thin coat of Marley Skin first. This barrier layer makes removal easier and prevents staining with intense shades.

How to remove Diamond FX face paint

Remove with a mild, non-moisturising soap and cool to lukewarm water. Hot water opens the pores and lets pigment sink deeper into the skin - avoid that. Gently work the soap in and rinse thoroughly. Repeat until the face paint is gone.

Why are there sometimes small cracks in the face paint?

Large temperature changes during storage or transport can cause the wax to expand and contract, leaving surface cracks. They usually disappear as soon as you start using the product. There is no effect on quality or shelf life.

Is Diamond FX safe for children?
