How to use Diamond FX face paint

Activate the face paint with a small amount of clean water. Mist the surface lightly with a spray bottle, or use a well-squeezed sponge or damp brush. Clean water keeps colours bright and true - use a water pot and refresh between colours.

Tips for a professional result

• Use the right brushes. The FBFX Face Paint Brushes are made specifically for face paint, with smooth synthetic bristles that leave no fluff. For detail work and sharp accents, reach for the FBFX Round Face Paint Brushes.
• Use the right sponge. For covering large areas, work with a Yellow Face Paint Sponge. Latex foam sponges are not suitable for face paint.
• Keep your water clean. A pot of clean water next to your workspace stops colours from mixing and keeps the copper shimmer from going dull.
• Barrier layer for sensitive skin or intense colours. Apply a thin layer of Marley Skin first. This barrier makes removal easier and prevents staining from intense pigments.

How to remove Diamond FX face paint

Remove the face paint with mild, non-moisturising soap and cool to lukewarm water. Hot water opens pores and lets pigment sink deeper into the skin - avoid this. Rub the soap in gently and rinse well. Repeat until all face paint is gone.

Why are there sometimes small cracks in the face paint?

Large temperature changes during storage or transport can cause the wax to expand and contract, leading to surface cracks. They usually disappear once you start using the product. There is no effect on quality or shelf life.

Is Diamond FX safe for children?

Can you apply Diamond FX over other colours?
