How to use Diamond FX face paint

Activate the face paint with a small amount of clean water. Mist the surface lightly with a spray bottle, or use a well-squeezed sponge or damp brush. Clean water keeps colours vivid and true - work with a water pot and refresh the water between colours.

Tips for a professional result

• Use the right brushes. The FBFX Face Paint Brushes are designed specifically for water-activated face paint with soft synthetic fibres that leave no fluff. For fine detail work and line work, reach for the FBFX Round Face Paint Brushes.
• Use the right sponge. For large areas, use a Yellow Face Paint Sponge. Latex foam sponges are not suitable for water-activated face paint.
• Keep your water clean. A pot of clean water next to your workspace prevents colours from mixing or going dull.
• Barrier layer for sensitive skin or intense colours. Apply a thin layer of Marley Skin before painting. This protective barrier makes removal easier and prevents staining with intense shades.

How to remove Diamond FX face paint

Remove with mild, non-moisturising soap and cool to lukewarm water. Hot water opens the pores and allows pigment to sink deeper into the skin - avoid this. Gently work in the soap and rinse thoroughly. Repeat until all face paint is gone.

Large temperature changes during storage or transport can cause the wax to expand and contract, leading to surface cracks. They usually disappear once you start using the paint. There is no effect on quality or shelf life.

Can you apply Diamond FX over other colours?
