How to use Diamond FX face paint

Activate the paint with a small amount of clean water. Mist the surface with a spray bottle, or pick up colour with a well-squeezed sponge or damp brush. Clean water keeps colours bright and true - use a water bowl and refresh it between colours.

Tips for a professional result

• Use the right brushes. The FBFX Face Paint Brushes are designed specifically for face paint with smooth synthetic fibres that leave no fluff. For detail work and fine lines, reach for the FBFX Round Face Paint Brushes.
• Use the right sponge. For large areas, work with a Yellow Sponge. Latex foam sponges are not suitable for face paint.
• Keep your water clean. A water bowl with clean water beside you prevents colours from mixing or going dull.
• Barrier layer for sensitive skin or intense colours. Apply a thin layer of Marley Skin beforehand. This barrier makes removal easier and prevents staining from intense pigments.

How to remove Diamond FX face paint

Remove with a mild, non-moisturising soap and cool to lukewarm water. Hot water opens pores and allows pigment to sink deeper into the skin - avoid that. Gently massage in the soap and rinse thoroughly. Repeat until all the face paint is gone.

Why are there sometimes small cracks in the face paint?

Large temperature changes during storage or transport can cause the wax to expand and contract, leading to surface cracks. They usually disappear when you start using the paint. There is no effect on quality or shelf life.
