How to use Diamond FX face paint

Activate the paint with a small amount of clean water. Mist the surface lightly with a spray bottle, or use a well-wrung sponge or damp brush. Clean water keeps colours vivid and true - work with a water pot and refresh it between colours.

Tips for a professional result

• Use the right brushes. The FBFX Face Paint Brushes are made for face paint with soft synthetic bristles that don't shed. For detail work and fine lines use the FBFX Round Face Paint Brushes.
• Use the right sponge. For large areas work with a Yellow Face Paint Sponge. Latex foam sponges are not suitable for face paint.
• Keep your water clean. A water pot with fresh water next to your workspace prevents colours from muddying or going dull.
• Barrier layer for sensitive skin or intense colours. Apply a thin layer of Marley Skin first. This barrier makes removal easier and prevents staining with intense shades like bordeaux red.

How to remove Diamond FX face paint

Remove the paint with mild, non-moisturising soap and cool to lukewarm water. Hot water opens pores and allows pigment to sink deeper into the skin - avoid it. Work the soap in gently and rinse thoroughly. Repeat until all the paint is gone.
