How to use Diamond FX face paint

Activate the face paint with a small amount of clean water. Mist the surface lightly with a spray bottle, or use a well-squeezed sponge or damp brush. Clean water keeps your colours pure and bright - use a water container and refresh the water between colours.

Tips for a professional result

• Use the right brushes. The FBFX Face Paint Brushes are made specifically for face paint with soft synthetic bristles that don't shed. For detail work and line art, reach for the FBFX Round Face Paint Brushes.
• Use the right sponge. For covering large areas use a Yellow Face Paint Sponge. Latex foam sponges are not suitable for water-activated face paint.
• Keep your water clean. A clean water container beside your workspace prevents colours from muddying or turning dull.
• Barrier layer for sensitive skin or intense colours. Apply a thin layer of Marley Skin beforehand. This barrier makes removal easier and prevents staining with intense shades such as turquoise, dark green or dark blue.

How to remove Diamond FX face paint

Remove with a mild, non-moisturising soap and cool to lukewarm water. Hot water opens pores and lets pigment sink deeper into the skin - avoid it. Work the soap in gently and rinse thoroughly. Repeat until everything is gone.

Large temperature fluctuations during storage or transport can cause the wax to expand and contract, resulting in surface cracks. They usually disappear once you start using the paint. There is no effect on quality or shelf life.
