How to use Diamond FX face paint

Activate the face paint with a small amount of clean water. Mist the surface lightly using a spray bottle, or use a well-squeezed sponge or damp brush. Clean water keeps colours vivid and true - work alongside a water container and refresh it between colours.

Tips for a professional result

• Use the right brushes. The FBFX Face Paint Brushes are designed specifically for water-activated face paint with soft synthetic bristles that leave no lint. For detail work and fine lines, reach for the FBFX Round Face Paint Brushes.
• Use the right sponge. For covering large areas, use a Yellow Face Paint Sponge. Latex foam sponges are not suitable for water-activated face paint.
• Keep your water clean. A water container with fresh water beside your work station prevents colours from muddying or looking dull.
• Barrier layer for sensitive skin or intense colours. Apply a thin layer of Marley Skin beforehand. This barrier makes removal easier and prevents staining (pigment residue) with intense shades.

How to remove Diamond FX face paint

Remove the face paint with a mild, non-moisturising soap and cool to lukewarm water. Hot water opens the pores and allows pigment to penetrate deeper - avoid it. Gently rub in the soap and rinse thoroughly. Repeat until all the paint is gone.

Why are there sometimes small cracks in the face paint?

Large temperature changes during storage or transport can cause the wax to expand and contract, resulting in surface cracks. These usually disappear once you start using the product. There is no effect on quality or shelf life.

Can you apply Diamond FX over other colours?
