Warm Brown is a versatile colour for realistic skin tones, subtle contouring and ageing effects. Think hollowed cheeks, deeper lines and shadows that make a face look older or more worn.
It also works as a base colour for character make-up on deeper skin tones, where you want to avoid a chalky undertone. As a contour shade, it blends easily with neighbouring colours like Honey Brown or Grey.
When do you choose a single pot over a palette?
Choose this pot when you go through Warm Brown quickly and keep running out of it in a palette. If you do a lot of contour work or character make-up, that one colour runs out faster than the rest.
A single pot also gives you more flexibility to combine with other brands or colours outside the MagiCake range.
How to use it
Activate with a slightly damp brush or sponge. Talc-based face paint absorbs a little more water than glycerin-based schmink, so use slightly more water for a smooth application. It dries in seconds.
Pro tip: For ageing effects, start with Warm Brown as a shadow base in the eye sockets, nasolabial folds and temples. Blend outward towards the skin tone for a gradual transition that looks convincing up close.
Setting and removing
MagiCake holds for several hours without a fixative. For longer performances or warm conditions, set with Ben Nye Final Seal. Remove easily with soap and water or a gentle make-up remover.
