Which creature and monster looks can you create?
The twelve shades are built around horror and creature work. Colour names like Cadaver Grey, Vein, Frankenstein and Black & Blue tell you straight away what each colour is for. That means less searching and faster application on set or at an event.

When does this palette make more sense than individual colours?
The Magicake talc base delivers strong pigment. In practice that means solid coverage, often in a single layer, without building up endlessly. Choose this palette when you regularly switch between eight to ten horror shades and need everything within reach.
Once dry, which takes just a few seconds, the face paint is smudge-resistant. It holds for hours without a fixative, making it practical for long wear or warm conditions.
How to use it
Dampen a brush or sponge lightly and activate the colour with small circular movements over the pan. The talc base absorbs water a little more slowly than glycerin-based face paint, so use slightly more water than you might be used to. The colour dries in seconds, letting you layer or add a second shade without bleeding.
Pro tip: For a convincing zombie look, lay Cadaver Grey as a flat base, work Maroon into the hollows for depth, then add Black & Blue around the eyes and temples. Finish with Vein to map out visible vein detail across the forehead and temples.
Setting and removing
Magicake holds for several hours without a fixative. Working in heat or with an intensive look? Ben Nye Final Seal adds extra staying power. Remove with water and soap or a gentle make-up remover.
