How to use it
Activate the face paint with a lightly damp brush or sponge. The talk base takes a little more water than glycerin-based face paint, so use slightly more water for smooth application. The paint dries within seconds and holds for several hours without a fixative.
Pro tip: For a realistic slash wound, start with Fresh Cut as your base, work the edges with Bright Red and add depth with Blood Red. Frame the bruising around the injury with Black & Blue and Lividity for extra believability.
Setting and removing
Magicake dries naturally smudge-resistant. For heavy use or a long wear day, protect the face paint with Ben Nye Final Seal. Apply a thin coat over dry paint for extra water resistance.
Removal is straightforward with lukewarm water and a gentle make-up remover. Avoid scrubbing, especially on sensitive skin or if you have used latex or other SFX materials alongside it.
