The Tinsley Transfers Attacked 3D FX Transfer is a 3D wound prosthetic for the arm or upper body, designed for Halloween, cosplay, theatre, and film productions. How do you apply the Attacked? (step-by-step)

1. Prepare - Make sure skin is clean, dry, and free of oils or make-up. Hair-free is ideal. Have a pair of scissors, a damp sponge or cloth, and lukewarm water ready.
2. Activate the transfer - Remove the card from the packaging. Carefully peel the transparent effect sheet away from the paper backing, then lay the sheet FX-side down onto the adhesive transfer paper. This keeps the prosthetic firmly in shape. Smooth out any air bubbles.
3. Cut out - Cut the transfer precisely without cutting into the edge of the prosthetic.
4. Expose the adhesive side - Remove the transparent top layer to reveal the adhesive side.
5. Apply - Position the transfer on the arm or upper body and press down firmly. Do not shift it once placed.
6. Transfer with water - Soak the paper backing thoroughly with your sponge or cloth. Wait about 30 seconds until the paper becomes translucent.
7. Remove the backing - Carefully slide or pull away the paper. Pat dry and press the edges down again for a seamless blend.
8. Finish - Complete the look with make-up and a touch of fake blood for extra depth and a convincing result.

Removal

1. Remove any make-up and blood residue with warm water and a cloth.
2. Lift an edge and gently roll the transfer off the skin. Remove any adhesive residue with Mouldlife Life-Wipes or Ben Nye Remove-it All. Cleanse the skin with water afterwards.

Common mistakes (and how to avoid them)

• Not using enough water - soak the backing fully until it turns translucent, otherwise it won't release cleanly.
• Shifting the transfer after placing it - press it down in the right spot first time and don't move it afterwards.
• Using too much fake blood - a small amount of fake blood usually gives a more realistic result than overdoing it.
