How to use Diamond FX face paint

Activate the face paint with a small amount of clean water. Mist the surface with a spray bottle, or use a well-squeezed sponge or damp brush. Clean water keeps your colours bright and true - work with a water pot and refresh the water between colours.

Tips for a professional result

• Use the right brushes. The FBFX Face Paint Brushes are made specifically for water-activated face paint with soft synthetic bristles that leave no fluff. For fine detail work use the FBFX Round Face Paint Brushes.
• Use the right sponge. For large areas, work with a Yellow Face Paint Sponge. Latex foam sponges are not suitable for water-activated face paint.
• Keep your water clean. A water pot with fresh water next to your workspace prevents colours from mixing or going dull.
• Barrier layer for sensitive skin or intense colours. Apply a thin layer of Marley Skin beforehand. This barrier makes removal easier and prevents staining from intense pigments.

How to remove Diamond FX face paint

Remove the face paint with mild, non-moisturising soap and cold to lukewarm water. Hot water opens the pores, which lets pigment sink deeper into the skin - avoid this. Gently work the soap in and rinse thoroughly. Repeat until all the face paint is gone.

Large temperature fluctuations during storage or transport can cause the wax to expand and contract, leading to surface cracks. They usually disappear on their own during use. There is no effect on quality or shelf life.
