How to use Diamond FX face paint

Activate the face paint with a small amount of clean water. Mist the surface lightly with a spray bottle, or use a well-squeezed sponge or damp brush. Clean water keeps colours vivid and true - use a water pot and refresh the water between colours.

Tips for a professional result

• Use the right brushes. The FBFX Face Paint Brushes are made specifically for water-activated face paint with soft synthetic bristles that won't leave fluff. For detail work and fine lines, reach for the FBFX Round Face Paint Brushes.
• Use the right sponge. For covering large areas, use a Yellow Face Paint Sponge. Latex foam sponges are not suitable for water-activated face paint.
• Keep your water clean. A water pot with fresh water next to your kit prevents colours from muddying or turning dull.
• Barrier layer for sensitive skin or intense colours. Apply a thin layer of Marley Skin beforehand. This barrier makes removal easier and prevents staining from intense shades like dark green, turquoise or dark blue.

How to remove Diamond FX face paint

Remove with a mild, non-moisturising soap and cool to lukewarm water. Hot water opens pores and allows pigment to sink deeper into the skin - avoid it. Gently work in the soap and rinse thoroughly. Repeat until all the colour is gone.

Large temperature fluctuations during storage or transport can cause the wax to expand and contract, creating surface cracks. They usually disappear once you start using the product. There is no effect on quality or shelf life.
