SynWax was developed as a modern alternative to traditional nose & scar wax. The wax stays pliable, moves comfortably with the skin, and is easy to model for scars, wounds, deformations and other 3D effects.

How to use SynWax

Clean the skin first. For areas that move a lot, apply a thin layer of Mehron Spirit Gum for extra adhesion. Warm the wax between your fingers until it softens, then model it directly onto the skin with a spatula. Blend the edges into the surrounding skin until the transition is seamless. A small amount of petroleum jelly on your spatula helps smooth the edges cleanly. Once shaped, dust with setting powder to remove tackiness and set the surface.

For extra protection against moisture or longer wear, seal the wax with Mehron Fixative "A" Sealer before colouring with cream make-up or stage blood.

Removing SynWax

Gently scrape the wax from the skin with your spatula, then remove any adhesive residue with Mehron Spirit Gum Remover on a cotton pad. Follow up with Mehron Make-up Remover Cream and rinse with water and a gentle cleanser.
