How to use Spirit Gum Remover
Step 1: prepare a cotton pad. Pour a small amount of Mehron Spirit Gum Remover onto a clean cotton pad. One capful is usually enough for an average prosthetic. Step 2: dab along the edges. Gently dab the cotton pad along the edges of the bonded prosthetic, crepe hair or wig. Leave the remover to work for around 10 to 20 seconds so it can penetrate the adhesive. Step 3: let the remover do the work. Do not rub actively. The remover dissolves the adhesive while you dab gently - the prosthetic will lift away on its own. Step 4: cleanse the skin. Wash the skin with warm water and soap to remove any remaining traces of remover and adhesive.
Pro tip: after cleansing, apply a gentle moisturising cream to the skin. The combination of Spirit Gum, remover and cleansing can slightly dry out the skin - a moisturiser helps restore the natural moisture balance.
