FBFX Flocking Sour Cherry, 20g

FBFX Flocking Sour Cherry consists of very fine fibres that you add to silicone or gelatine when making a prosthetic. Sour Cherry is a darker red than Crimson, ideal for fresh wound edges and intense blood effects in prosthetics.

What is FBFX Flocking?

FBFX Flocking are fine coloured fibres developed specifically for making realistic prosthetics. You mix the fibres into silicone or gelatine before the material cures.

Unlike standard pigments, the fibres don't dissolve. They stay visible in the material and create small variations in colour like you see in real skin. As a result, a prosthetic looks more natural and less flat.

Sour Cherry handles deeper blood effects than Crimson can manage. Mix it with Skin for darkly blood-flushed patches, with Mauve for old blood edges, or with Deep Black for dark clotting blood. For fresh open wounds, combine with Crimson to contrast fresh and dark blood side by side.

How do you use Flocking Sour Cherry?

Add a small amount of Flocking Sour Cherry to your gelatine or silicone before the material cures. Mix thoroughly so the fibres are evenly distributed.

Building a specific skin tone? Use Sour Cherry alongside other Flocking colours in small amounts until you reach the result you want.

Always start with a small amount. You can add more later, but too much Flocking can thicken the mix and make it harder to work with.
