How to use Diamond FX face paint

Activate the face paint with a little clean water. Mist it lightly using a spray bottle, or pick up colour with a well-squeezed sponge or damp brush. Clean water keeps colours bright and true - use a water container and refresh the water between colours.

Tips for a professional result

• Use the right brushes. The FBFX Face Paint Brushes are made specifically for water-activated face paint with smooth synthetic fibres that don't shed. For detail work and lines, reach for the FBFX Round Face Paint Brushes.
• Use the right sponge. For large areas, work with a Yellow Face Paint Sponge. Latex foam sponges are not suitable for water-activated face paint.
• Keep your water clean. A water container with fresh water next to your workspace stops colours from muddying or dulling.
• Protect sensitive skin or use with intense colours. Apply a thin layer of Marley Skin beforehand. This barrier layer makes removal easier and prevents staining from intense shades like Spirit.

How to remove Diamond FX face paint

Remove the face paint with a mild, non-moisturising soap and cool to lukewarm water. Hot water opens the pores and lets pigment sink deeper into the skin - best avoided. Work the soap in gently and rinse thoroughly. Repeat until all the face paint is gone.

Large temperature swings during storage or transport can cause the wax to expand and contract, leading to surface cracks. These usually disappear during use. There is no effect on quality or shelf life.

Can you apply Diamond FX over other colours?
