How to use Diamond FX face paint

Activate the face paint with a small amount of clean water. Mist the surface lightly with a spray bottle, or use a well-squeezed sponge or damp brush. Clean water keeps your colours pure and bright - use a water pot and refresh the water between colours.

Tips for a professional result

• Use the right brushes. The FBFX Face Paint Brushes are made specifically for face paint, with smooth synthetic bristles that don't leave fibres behind. For detail work and line work, use the FBFX Round Face Paint Brushes.
• Use the right sponge. For large areas, work with a Yellow Face Paint Sponge. Latex foam sponges are not suitable for face paint.
• Keep your water clean. A pot of clean water next to your workspace prevents colours from muddying or going dull.
• Barrier layer for sensitive skin or intense colours. Apply a thin layer of Marley Skin beforehand. This barrier layer makes removal easier and prevents staining with intense colours like turquoise, dark green or dark blue.

How to remove Diamond FX face paint

Remove with a mild, non-moisturising soap and cold to lukewarm water. Hot water opens the pores and lets pigment sink deeper into the skin - avoid it. Work the soap in gently and rinse thoroughly. Repeat until all face paint is gone.

Large temperature swings during storage or transport can cause the wax to expand and contract, leading to surface cracks. They usually disappear during use. There is no effect on quality or shelf life.

Can you apply Diamond FX over other colours?
