ProAiir QuickEZ Gears Stencil

With the QuickEZ Gears stencil, you stamp a sharp gear pattern onto skin in a single step. Press it down, airbrush or dab with a face paint sponge or finger sponge, lift it off, done. The quickest route to a convincing sci-fi or cyberpunk effect, even without an airbrush.

What is the QuickEZ Gears stencil?

A reusable face paint stencil made from flexible, semi-transparent mylar, 7 mil thick (approximately 0.18 mm).

The designs shown in the product photos are examples; the colour that lands on the skin is entirely your choice of face paint.

Size: approx. 11.4 x 14 cm, one design per stencil. The tab has a hole so you can hang the stencil on a keyring or stencil rack.

Why pick this stencil?

• Airbrush and hand application. Works with ProAiir Hybrid, ProAiir Ink, Endura, and regular water-activated face paint. You pick the technique that suits the job.
• Fast results. Press, spray or dab, lift off, done. Perfect when you need a recognisable techno pattern on the fly at an event, festival or shoot.
• Reusable. Mylar is durable and flexible. Clean it well, store it flat, and it will last you many shows and seasons.
• Follows the contours of the skin. The thin, flexible mylar sits flush against cheek, forehead, shoulder or upper arm without gaps.

How to use the stencil

1. Hold the stencil flat against the skin where you want the gear motif.
2. Spray with the airbrush or dab with a damp face paint sponge.
3. Lift the stencil straight up. Do not slide it across the skin or the edges will smear.

Tip for water-activated paint: keep your sponge damp, not wet. Too much moisture and the paint seeps under the edges, blurring your lines.

Cleaning and storage

Rinse the stencil with lukewarm water and mild soap after use. Pat it dry gently and leave it flat until fully dry. Do not roll or fold it, as mylar will retain permanent creases.

Used it with ProAiir Hybrid? Rub a thin layer of mild soap onto the stencil first, then rinse with lukewarm water. That loosens the alcohol-based paint from the mylar.

For storage: hang the stencil by the tab hole, or keep it between two sheets of paper in a flat folder.
