What is Specialty Powder Charred Ash?

Charred Ash is a super-fine loose powder with a grey-black tint. It imitates real ash that has settled on the skin. The powder contains no binder and leaves no greasy or sticky layer behind.

Combine it with Mehron Liquid Latex Clear or Mehron Scar Wax for realistic burnt-skin or wound effects.

How do you use it?

Step 1: measure out the powder. Shake a small amount onto the lid or into a palette. Use a soft powder brush for larger areas or a small powder brush for precise details.

Step 2: apply. Dab or sweep the powder onto the skin. Start with a thin layer. Step 3: build up layers. Add layer by layer until you reach the desired effect. A light hand gives a subtle dust effect; more powder gives a heavier ash or soot result.

How to remove

Charred Ash washes off easily with water and soap. For delicate make-up underneath, use a make-up wipe or mild remover so you do not disturb the underlying layer.
