What is Sweat and Tears?

Sweat and Tears is a clear, slightly viscous fluid. Glycerine absorbs moisture and evaporates slowly, so drips keep their gloss and stay visible on the skin without smudging make-up or leaving marks. That means you can reapply between takes without touching up the base.

How to use Sweat and Tears

Tears under the eye: tilt the bottle above the cheek and squeeze one drop from the dropper just below the tear duct. The drop rolls slowly downward and holds its gloss for minutes. For sustained tears throughout a scene, add a fresh drop between takes.

Fake sweat: mix Sweat and Tears 50/50 with water in a small spray bottle and mist lightly over the forehead, temples, and neck. For a heavily sweated look after a fight or sports shot, mist a second layer over the first and lightly pat with a fingertip for a natural droplet pattern.

Wound moisture: drip a few drops of Sweat and Tears into an SFX wound after colouring. The glycerine gives the flesh a moist, freshly cut look that's easy to top up between takes. Combine with Mehron Coagulated Blood Gel for deep red blood effects or Mehron Stage Blood for dripping blood. Airbrush dampening: mix Sweat and Tears with water in your airbrush cup and spray a fine mist over the make-up for a dewy skin effect. Works well over an airbrush base with ProAiir Hybrid to give make-up a natural sheen. Safety and storage: non-toxic glycerine base, safe around the eyes at normal use. Avoid ingestion. Removing Sweat and Tears

Sweat and Tears washes off easily with warm water and soap. For delicate make-up under the eye, gently dab with a tissue or cotton pad soaked in micellar water to lift the glycerine layer without smearing the base.
