How to use it

Wet method: dampen a brush lightly with water or Mehron Mixing Liquid and work the powder through. This delivers more intense colour with better adhesion, ideal for layered effects.

Pro tip: Start with a dry layer for the base dust, then switch to a lightly damp brush for depth on specific spots like joints, clothing seams or along the hairline. That gives you the most realistic result without over-saturating the surface.

Setting and removing

Dry-applied Grime FX powder does not need to be set. If you want the colour to last longer on skin, a fixative spray works well. On clothing and hair, a light mist of hairspray helps lock it in.

Removal is straightforward with water and soap. On clothing, shake off excess powder first before washing. If you applied the powder wet and it has adhered more firmly, a mild makeup remover will do the job.
