How do you apply the Vampire Kiss? (step-by-step)

1. Prepare - Make sure your neck or throat is clean, dry and free of oils or make-up. Have a pair of scissors, a damp sponge or cloth and lukewarm water ready.
2. Cut out - Cut the transfer out generously following the outer edge of the design.
3. Remove the top layer - Peel away the transparent protective film carefully to reveal the adhesive side.
4. Apply + activate - Press the adhesive side firmly onto your neck or throat. Dampen the paper backing thoroughly with your wet sponge and wait about 30 seconds until the paper turns translucent.
5. Remove paper + finish - Slide the paper gently to the side. The tattoo stays behind as a detailed print on your skin. Add a little fake blood around the bite marks for extra impact.

Removal

1. Remove any make-up and blood residue with warm water and a cloth.
2. Lift an edge and peel the transfer away gently. Remove any adhesive residue with Mouldlife Life-Wipes or Ben Nye Remove-it All. Rinse the skin with water afterwards.

Common mistakes (and how to avoid them)

• Pulling the paper too early - Wait the full 30 seconds until the backing is completely translucent. Pulling too soon tears the design.
• Not pressing down firmly enough - Press the tattoo evenly before wetting the backing. Loose edges won't bond properly after that point.
• Too much blood over the tattoo itself - Apply fake blood around the bite wounds, not in a thick layer over the tattoo. That way the detail stays visible.
