How do you apply the Road Rash Trauma FX? (step-by-step)

1. Prepare - Make sure your skin is clean, dry and free of oil or make-up. Grab a pair of scissors, a damp sponge or cloth and lukewarm water.
2. Cut out - Cut the transfer out around the outer edge of the design.
3. Remove the top layer - Carefully peel off the transparent protective film to expose the adhesive side.
4. Place and activate - Press the tattoo adhesive-side down onto your arm, leg or shoulder. Dampen the paper backing fully with your wet sponge and wait about 30 seconds until the paper turns translucent.
5. Remove paper and finish - Carefully slide the paper away. The tattoo stays behind as a detailed print on your skin. Add a little fake blood for extra impact if you like.

Removal

1. Remove any fake blood residue with warm water and a cloth.
2. Lift a corner of the tattoo and roll it gently off the skin. Remove any remaining adhesive with Mouldlife Life-Wipes or Ben Nye Remove-it All. Rinse with water afterwards.

Common mistakes (and how to avoid them)

• Pulling the paper too early - Wait until the backing paper is fully translucent before you remove it. Those 30 seconds make all the difference.
• Not pressing down firmly enough - Press the tattoo flat and evenly before wetting it, otherwise air bubbles or loose edges appear.
• Too much fake blood on top - A thin layer is all you need. Too much blood hides the realistic detail of the road rash. Build up gradually.
