How do you apply the Shot & Stabbed Trauma FX tattoo? (step-by-step)

1. Prepare - Make sure your skin is clean, dry, and free from oil or make-up. Have a pair of scissors, a damp sponge or cloth, and lukewarm water to hand.
2. Cut out - Cut the transfer out generously following the outer edge of the design.
3. Remove the top layer - Carefully peel away the transparent protective film to reveal the adhesive side.
4. Position and activate - Press the tattoo adhesive-side down onto your chest or stomach and press firmly. Wet the paper backing thoroughly with your damp sponge and wait about 30 seconds until the paper turns translucent.
5. Remove the paper and finish - Slide the paper gently to the side. The tattoo stays behind as a detailed print on your skin. Finish with a little fake blood for extra impact if you like.

Removal

1. Remove any make-up and blood residue with warm water and a cloth.
2. Lift one edge and roll the transfer away from your skin carefully. Remove any adhesive residue with Mouldlife Life-Wipes or Remove-it All by Ben Nye. Rinse with water afterwards.

Common mistakes (and how to avoid them)

• Pulling the paper off too soon - Wait the full 30 seconds until the paper is completely translucent. Pulling early risks taking part of the tattoo with it.
• Not pressing the transfer down firmly enough - Press the whole tattoo flat before wetting. Pay extra attention to the corners and edges.
• Too much fake blood on top of the tattoo - A small drop or smear is convincing. Heavy layers of blood cover the realistic detail of the print.
