How do you apply the Claw Marks Trauma FX? (step-by-step)

1. Prepare - Make sure the skin is clean, dry and free of oil or make-up. Grab a pair of scissors, a damp sponge or cloth and lukewarm water.
2. Cut out - Cut the transfer out generously following the outer edge of the claw scratch design.
3. Remove the top layer - Carefully peel away the transparent protective film to expose the adhesive side.
4. Position + activate - Place the tattoo adhesive-side down on your arm, shoulder or leg and press firmly. Dampen the paper backing completely with your wet sponge and wait about 30 seconds until the paper turns translucent.
5. Remove paper + finish - Slide the paper gently to the side. The tattoo stays behind as a detailed print on your skin. Add a touch of fake blood for extra impact if you like.

Removal

1. Remove any make-up or blood residue with warm water and a cloth.
2. Lift one edge and roll the transfer gently away from the skin. Remove any remaining adhesive with Mouldlife Life-Wipes or Ben Nye Remove-it All. Rinse the skin with water afterwards.

Common mistakes (and how to avoid them)

• Pulling the paper too soon - Wait a full 30 seconds. If the paper is still white it is too dry. Re-dampen and wait until it is completely translucent.
• Not pressing firmly enough - Press the tattoo flat and firmly before wetting the backing. Air bubbles under the transfer create uneven edges.
• Too much fake blood on top - A thin line of blood along the scratch marks is enough. Overdoing it covers the claw pattern and reduces the realism.
