Thin, colourless fake blood for drips, splatters and soaking through fabric. This thin fake blood from Superstar runs and splatters just like real blood - ideal for crime scenes, spurting wounds and blood-soaked bandages.
What is Superstar Fake Blood Clear Thin?
A thin, water-soluble fake blood that runs and splatters freely. No clotting effect - the blood stays liquid and soaks through fabric in seconds. Use it to create dripping wounds, blood-soaked dressings or crime-scene splatters that look convincing on camera and in person.
Clear Thin is colourless - mix in your own colour using Bright Red Clotting or Dark Thick Clotting, or use it on its own as a bleed-through effect beneath a wound. Non-clotting, so it stays nicely liquid.

How to apply
Shake the bottle well before use. Drip the blood directly from the bottle, or apply with a brush. For splatter effects, flick it off a brush; for soaking through fabric, drip it onto the material and let gravity do the work.
After for a clotted-blood look? Combine Clear Thin with a thicker variant such as Bright Red Clotting or Dark Thick Clotting. Not for use in or around the mouth, and not near the eyes. Not intended for use on mucous membranes.
Removing and washing
Remove the blood from skin in three steps: first rinse off the top layer with lukewarm water, then use a remover towel to lift any residue, and finish by washing with skin soap.
Got a stain on your costume? Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water first, then wash at 30 degrees in the machine or by hand. For white fabrics or delicate textiles, test on a small area first. This blood does not come out equally well from all types of fabric.
What to use it for
- Dripping blood from ears, nose, eye corners and mouth corners (around them, not in them).
- Soaking through fabric - drip onto bandages, cloth or clothing for a 'blood seeping through' effect.
- Splatters on clothing, face and props for crime scenes and horror tableaux.
- Spurting blood from prosthetics, blood bags and pumps - combine with Bright Red Clotting for extra colour.
