What is Superstar Fake Blood Clear Thick?
A thick, water-soluble fake blood in a clear, colourless shade. The clotting formula stays nicely in place and adheres to skin. Use it to create scene blood in your own colour, blended mixes for film and theatre, bleed-through effects beneath a wound, or clear drops you tint yourself - all convincing on camera and in person.
Clear Thick is scene blood you colour yourself. Mix with Bright Red Clotting for a fresh wound shade or with Dark Thick Clotting for an older, dried-out look.
Why choose this fake blood?
- Clotting and thick - holds its position well, doesn't drip away unintentionally.
- Clear/transparent shade - mix to any colour and intensity you need.
- Blendable - mix with Bright Red Clotting or Dark Thick Clotting for depth and realism.
- Water-based (Aqua) - washes off skin with water and soap.
- Dosing cap on the bottle - drop or apply directly to a brush or sponge.
- 50ml - enough for multiple looks or longer shoots.
How to apply
Shake the bottle well before use. Apply with a clean brush or a makeup sponge, or squeeze directly from the bottle onto the desired area. For a smeared effect, dab with a stipple sponge. For fine spatters, tap the blood off a brush or use a toothbrush.
Let the blood clot briefly in place before working over it - that way it won't sink in. Mix with Bright Red Clotting or Dark Thick Clotting for extra depth around a wound. Not for use in the mouth or near the eyes. This blood contains no pigments but is not intended for use on mucous membranes.
Removing and washing
Remove from skin in three steps: first rinse off the top layer with lukewarm water, then lift any residue with a remover towel, and finish by washing with skin soap.
Got a stain on your costume? Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water first, then machine wash at 30 degrees or wash by hand. For white fabrics or delicate textiles, test a small area beforehand. This blood does not come out equally well from all types of fabric.
What to use it for
- Scene blood you colour yourself - for film, theatre and short films.
- Mixing with other blood colours to achieve your exact shade and intensity.
- Bleed-through effects beneath or alongside a wound as a clear, wet layer.
- Clear drops for looks where you control the colour - mix with Bright Red Clotting for fresh wounds.
- Halloween parties, themed events and costume occasions.
