What is Superstar Fake Blood Clear Thin?
A thin, water-soluble fake blood that flows and splatters. No clotting effect - the blood stays liquid and soaks through fabric in seconds. Use it to create dripping wound effects, blood-soaked bandages or pumped-blood looks.
Clear Thin is colourless - mix your own shade using Bright Red Clotting or Dark Thick Clotting, or use it as a seeping effect beneath a wound. No clotting, so it stays beautifully liquid.

How to apply
Shake well before use. Drip the blood directly from the bottle, or apply with a brush or make-up sponge. For spatter effects, flick it off a brush; to soak through fabric, drip it onto the material and let gravity do the work.
Want a clotted blood look? Combine Clear Thin with a thicker variant like Bright Red Clotting or Dark Thick Clotting. Not for use in or around the mouth or eyes. Clear Thin contains no pigments, but is not intended for use in the mouth or near the eyes.
Removing and washing
Remove from skin in three steps: rinse off the top layer with lukewarm water, then lift any residue with a remover towel, and follow up with skin cleanser.
Got it on a costume? Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water first, then wash at 30 degrees in the machine or by hand. We recommend testing on a small hidden area first if the fabric is white or delicate. This blood does not wash out equally well from all types of fabric.
What to use it for
- Dripping blood from ears, nose, eye corners and mouth corners (around, not in).
- Soaking through fabric - drip onto bandages, cloth or clothing for a 'bleeding through' effect.
- Spatters on clothing, face, props for crime scenes and horror tableaux.
- Pumped blood from prosthetics, blood bags and pump rigs.
- Combine with Dark Thick Clotting for a clotted base with liquid blood flowing over the top.
