The Mehron Mark Reid Brush #2 Round is a professional round detail brush from the Mark Reid Pro range, designed by international body painter Mark Reid for face and body painting with face paint. The synthetic two-tone nylon brush hairs come to a fine point, ideal for detail work, lines, eye accents and small areas. The wooden handle has a urethane coating for easy cleaning, and an angled end you can use to push away stray hairs or edges without damaging your design. Suitable for professional face painters, theatre make-up artists and SFX artists working with water-activated face paint.
How do you use the #2 Round brush?
Activate your face paint with a little water and load the brush to a creamy consistency. The fine point is ideal for thin lines, small details, dots, whiskers, eyebrows and other precise line work.
The small size lets you work with control around eyes, small accents and fine finishing touches within your design. Hold the brush like a pen for maximum control while painting. The angled end of the handle can be used to push away stray hairs or gently correct small mistakes.
Care and cleaning
Rinse the brush directly after use under lukewarm water until all pigment has gone. Wash with a mild soap or brush cleaner and gently squeeze out without pulling the bristle bundle apart. Leave to dry hanging with the hairs pointing downward. The urethane coating on the handle keeps the wood resistant to water and cleaning products without splintering.
