Mehron Mark Reid Brush Lily Flower Brush
The Mehron Mark Reid Brush Lily is a professional flower-shaped stamp brush from the Mark Reid Pro range, designed by international body painter Mark Reid for face and body painting with face paints. The synthetic two-tone nylon brush hairs form a flower shape with multiple petal clusters, allowing you to stamp a complete flower onto the skin in a single press. The wooden handle has a urethane coating for easy cleaning and an angled tip you can use to push aside stray hairs or correct edges without damaging your design. Suitable for professional face painters, theatre makeup artists and SFX artists working with water-activated face paints.
How do you use this brush?
Activate your face paint with a little water and load the brush evenly with your chosen colour. Press the brush straight down onto the skin to stamp a complete flower in one go.
For multicoloured flowers, load different colours onto different sections of the brush before stamping. For extra dimension, stamp in two layers with different colours on top of each other. The angled tip of the handle can be used to push away stray hairs or gently correct small mistakes.
Care and cleaning
Rinse the brush immediately after use under lukewarm water until all pigment has gone. Wash with a mild soap or brush cleaner and squeeze gently without pulling the fibre bundle apart. Leave to dry hanging with the hairs pointing downwards. The urethane coating on the handle keeps the wood resistant to water and cleaning products without splintering.
