The ProAiir ProLong Satin Barrier/Extender/Mixing Liquid is a professional airbrush sealer with three uses: protect your airbrush makeup against moisture and friction, extend drying time by mixing it into your pigments, or blend it with mica and glitter to create your own shimmer makeup. A versatile add-on for cosplay, theatre, film and bodypainting.

ProLong Satin works as a protective top layer that helps to set and activate the makeup already applied. This further improves resistance to moisture, perspiration and friction, while helping the pigments adhere better to the skin.

What is ProAiir ProLong Satin Barrier/Extender?

ProLong Satin is a specialist sealer and mixing liquid that you apply over, or blend into, your airbrush makeup. The liquid forms a light protective layer on the skin that helps the pigments bond and keeps the makeup looking fresh for longer, even with movement, heat or moisture. It works best over ProAiir Hybrid and ProAiir Ink airbrush makeup, and can also be used over water-based face paint once it has fully dried. This Satin variant dries to a satin-shine finish that gives the makeup a soft shimmer effect without full gloss.

• Extender: mix into ProAiir Hybrid or Ink to thin the makeup and extend drying time without losing colour intensity.

How to use ProLong Satin Barrier/Extender

1. Make sure the airbrush makeup is fully dry on the skin.
2. Fill your airbrush, pump spray or face paint sponge with a small amount of ProLong Satin.
3. Keep eyes and mouth closed during application.
4. Spray or dab the sealer gently over the makeup. Do not wipe, as this can disturb the layer underneath.
5. Allow to dry fully before touching or layering on top.
6. According to ProAiir, you can optionally dust with baby powder or translucent setting powder for extra setting.

Important tips

• Always apply once the airbrush makeup is fully dry (the most common mistake).
• Works over ProAiir Hybrid and ProAiir Ink, and also over water-based face paint once fully dry.
• When applying with a face paint sponge: dab only, do not rub.
• Keep eyes and mouth closed when spraying.
• Safe for use on face and body.
• For a matte finish without shine: choose the standard ProLong variant.
