What is Ben Nye Final Seal?

Ben Nye Final Seal is an alcohol-based setting spray that locks your applied make-up in place. After spraying, it dries almost instantly and forms a transparent, matte layer over your look. The make-up stays put, even through sweat, rain or long performance days.

How to use the sealer

Step 1: Apply your make-up fully. Make sure your face paint or make-up is dry before spraying Final Seal. Lightly dust cream make-up with neutral setting powder first for extra adhesion.

Step 2: Spray from a distance. Hold the bottle 20-30 cm away from the face or body. Spray in an even, light mist across the full area of make-up. Close your eyes and hold your breath briefly while spraying.

Step 3: Allow to dry. The spray dries within seconds. Apply a second light coat for extra durability during intense use or outdoor conditions.

Pro tip from Linda: For extra durability, you can activate Diamond FX or other water-activated face paint directly with Ben Nye Final Seal instead of water. This creates a stronger, better-bonded layer of make-up, ideal for outdoor summer shows, sporting events, theatre and long shoot days.

Removal

Remove with Ben Nye Hydra Cleanse (oil-free) or Ben Nye Quick Cleanse. Wipe away the make-up with a cotton pad, then rinse with lukewarm water and a mild cleanser. If you have sensitive skin, apply a moisturiser after cleansing.
