Woochie Latex Werewolf Bites
The Woochie Latex Werewolf Bites is a ready-to-use wound application from Woochie for a realistic werewolf bite wound. Apply it to your skin, colour it in, add fake blood and your horror or Halloween look is complete.
What is the Werewolf Bites?
A latex prosthetic in the shape of a werewolf bite wound with tooth and claw marks. The edges are thinly finished so they blend smoothly into the skin. Remove the prosthetic carefully after use, clean it and store it dry, and you can use it multiple times.
Why does this prosthetic work so well?
No kneading, no waiting for drying time, no liquid latex to build up layer by layer. The shape is already there. Your work is in blending the edges, colouring it in and adding the blood. That is where you make the difference.
How do you apply the Werewolf Bites?
Hold the prosthetic dry against the desired spot on your skin first to find the right position. Do this before you apply any adhesive.
Apply a thin layer of skin adhesive to both the back of the prosthetic and your skin. Pros-Aide is the standard for long-lasting hold; for a quick fix you can also use spirit gum. Let the adhesive go tacky before pressing the prosthetic onto the skin.
Press the prosthetic firmly from the centre outwards to the edges. Then blend the edges using liquid latex or Pros-Aide Cream. Several thin layers give the smoothest transition. Powder the edges with setting powder before you start colouring the prosthetic.
Painting and blood
Colour the prosthetic using water-activated face paint, grease paint or alcohol-activated makeup (such as Encore palettes). Work in thin layers. Start with red-purple in the depth of the bite wound, then add a bluish edge to suggest bruising, then drying blood along the sides. For the blood effect: apply fake blood inside the wound itself, and add a drying layer on the skin around the bite.
Setting and removal
Set your colour work with setting powder so nothing smudges. To remove, work a Pros-Aide remover such as Mouldlife Life Wipes, Ben Nye Remove it All or Pro-clean cleansing Oil under the edges, lift the prosthetic gently and rinse the skin with lukewarm water afterwards.
What can you use it for?
- Halloween costume as a werewolf victim or survivor
- SFX shoots and film productions with a horror or creature theme
- Haunted houses and professional horror events
- Cosplay of horror characters or post-attack victims
