The Woochie Latex Terminated is a ready-to-apply wound prosthetic by Woochie for a fatal, terminal wound look. Stick it on, paint it in, add blood and your horror, Halloween or SFX look is complete.

What is the Terminated?

A latex prosthetic in the shape of a deep, fatal wound - designed for an extremely realistic terminated look. The thin, finished edges blend smoothly into the skin so there is no hard transition visible. Remove the prosthetic carefully after use, clean it and store it dry - you can use it multiple times.

Why does this prosthetic work so well?

No kneading, no waiting for dry time, no liquid latex to build up layer by layer. The shape is already there. Your work is in blending the edges, colouring it in and adding the blood. That is where you make the difference.

How do you apply the Terminated?

Hold the prosthetic dry against the intended area first to find the right position. Do this before you apply any adhesive.

Apply a thin layer of skin adhesive to both the back of the prosthetic and your skin. Pros-Aide is the standard for long-lasting hold; for a quick application you can also use spirit gum. Let the adhesive become tacky before pressing the prosthetic onto the skin.

Press the prosthetic firmly from the centre outwards to the edges. Blend the edges with liquid latex or Pros-Aide Cream. Multiple thin layers give the smoothest transition. Dust the edges with setting powder before you start colouring the prosthetic.

Painting and blood

Colour the prosthetic with water-activated, grease or alcohol-activated face paint (such as Encore palettes). Work in thin layers. Start with red-purple in the depths of the wound, then a bluish edge, then drying blood along the side. For the blood effect: apply fake blood inside the wound and let a drying layer spread onto the surrounding skin.

Setting and removal

Set your colour work with setting powder so nothing runs. To remove, work a Pros-Aide remover such as Mouldlife Life Wipes, Ben Nye Remove it All or Pro-clean Cleansing Oil under the edges, gently lift the prosthetic away and rinse the skin with lukewarm water afterwards.
