Woochie Latex Mega Bite
The Woochie Latex Mega Bite is a ready-to-use wound application from Woochie for a large, realistic bite wound. Apply it, colour in layers, add fake blood and your horror or SFX look is complete.
What is the Mega Bite?
A latex prosthetic in the shape of a large bite wound with deep tooth impressions and torn skin edges. The thin, finished edges blend seamlessly into the skin. Remove it carefully, clean it and store it dry and you can use this application multiple times.
Why does this prosthetic work so well?
No kneading, no waiting for drying time, no liquid latex to build up layer by layer. The shape is already there. Your work goes into blending the edges, colouring and the blood. That is where you make the difference.
How do you apply the Mega Bite?
Hold the prosthetic dry against the desired spot first to find the right position. Do this before you apply any adhesive.
Apply a thin layer of skin adhesive to both the back of the prosthetic and your skin. Pros-Aide is the standard for long-lasting hold; for a quick stick you can also use spirit gum. Let the adhesive go tacky before pressing the prosthetic onto the skin.
Press the prosthetic firmly from the centre outwards to the edges. Then blend the edges using liquid latex or Pros-Aide Cream. Several thin layers give the smoothest transition. Powder the edges well with setting powder before you start colouring the prosthetic.
Painting and blood
Colour the prosthetic with water-activated face paint, grease paint or alcohol-activated makeup (such as Encore palettes). Work in thin layers. Start with red-purple in the depths of the bite wound, then a bluish edge, then drying blood along the sides. For the blood effect: fake blood inside the wound, and a drying layer on the skin outside.
Setting and removal
Set your colour work with setting powder so nothing smears. To remove, work a Pros-Aide remover such as Mouldlife Life Wipes, Ben Nye Remove it All or Pro-clean Cleansing Oil under the edges, lift the prosthetic gently and rinse the skin with lukewarm water afterwards.
What can you use it for?

- SFX shoots and film productions with realistic injuries
- Haunted houses and horror events where every look needs to be done quickly
- Cosplay of horror characters, victims or post-apocalyptic characters
- Practice work for make-up artists learning to colour SFX prosthetics
