The Woochie Latex Master Beast Set is a latex character set by Woochie for a complete beast look in one kit. Apply the pieces, colour them in and your horror or Halloween look is complete.

What is the Master Beast Set?

A latex character set made up of multiple prosthetic pieces that build a beast character across the face. The thin, finished edges blend smoothly into the skin for a realistic transition. Remove the set carefully after use, clean the pieces and store them dry - they can be used multiple times.

Why does this prosthetic work so well?

No kneading, no waiting for drying time, no liquid latex to build up layer by layer. The shape is already there. Your work is in blending the edges and painting it in. That's where you make the difference.

How do you apply the Master Beast Set?

Hold each piece dry against your face first to find the right position. Do this before applying any adhesive.

Apply a thin layer of skin adhesive to both the back of the prosthetic and your skin. Pros-Aide is the standard for long-lasting adhesion; for a quick stick you can also use spirit gum. Let the adhesive become tacky before pressing the piece onto your skin.

Press each piece firmly from the centre outwards towards the edges. Blend the edges with liquid latex or Pros-Aide Cream. Several thin layers give the best transition. Powder the edges with setting powder before you start colouring the prosthetic.

Painting

Colour the prosthetic with face paint, greasepaint or alcohol-activated makeup (such as Encore palettes). Work in thin layers. Apply a skin-toned base across all pieces, then add character accents - dark shadow tones in the grooves, light highlights on the raised areas and rough reddish-brown patches for a weathered, lifelike beast effect.

Setting and removal

Set your colour work with setting powder so nothing runs. To remove, work a remover such as Mouldlife Life Wipes, Ben Nye Remove it All or Pro-clean Cleansing Oil under the edges, lift the piece carefully and rinse the skin with lukewarm water.
