Mehron Crepe Hair Blond (30 cm)
Mehron Crepe Hair Blond is a braided strand of real sheep's wool in a natural blonde shade. Perfect for creating blonde beards and moustaches for Scandinavian warriors, Vikings, mythological heroes, and blonde characters in theatre, cosplay, Halloween, and special effects makeup. By gently steaming the strand, you can stretch it to roughly three times its original length. The wool combs out, cuts, and styles with ease, and attaches simply with skin adhesive or latex.
How do you use Crepe Hair?
Unravel the braided strand and steam the wool lightly to relax the curls. You can then cut, shape, and build it up layer by layer for a realistic beard, moustache, or eyebrow.
Apply Mehron Spirit Gum to the skin where you want to attach the hair, and let the adhesive dry briefly until it feels tacky. Press the crepe hair gently into the adhesive and build up in layers for extra volume and a natural result. For an extra-strong hold during long stage days or film shoots, you can also use liquid latex as an alternative to Spirit Gum.
How to remove
Remove the crepe hair along with any adhesive residue using Mehron Spirit Gum Remover on a cotton pad. Drip the remover along the edge of the adhesive area and leave it to work for 10 to 20 seconds. Gently peel away the crepe hair, then cleanse the skin with warm water and soap.
