Grimas Wolcrepe Light Chestnut (50cm) – Crepe Hair for Beards, Mustaches & Eyebrows
Grimas Wolcrepe Light Chestnut is a braided strand of real sheep wool, perfect for creating temporary fake beards, mustaches, eyebrows, or sideburns. This version is approx. 50 cm long and ideal for SFX looks, theatre, character work, and blending the edges of Santa or Saint Nicholas beards into the skin.
The crepe hair consists of pieces of approx. 15 cm, woven into a soft strand. You can easily loosen, straighten, trim, and apply it. Thanks to the extra length, this version is also great for seamlessly blending beard edges into the skin – with no visible transitions.

How to use Grimas Wolcrepe?
- Cut the binding threads if needed and carefully loosen the braid.
- Tease the end into a fluffy texture for a smooth transition on the skin.
- Straighten with a flat iron or steam iron (wool setting). Don’t overheat or pull too hard!
- Gently stretch the wool lengthwise through your fingers to make it longer and airier.
- Trim to size and apply in layers using the adhesive of your choice.
Removing crepe hair?
Used Water-soluble Mastix? Warm water and mild soap will do the trick. Used Mastix Extra? Then remove the crepe hair using Mastix Remover and a cotton pad.
