ProAiir QuickEZ Bubbles Stencil
With the QuickEZ Bubbles stencil, you lay down a repeating bubble pattern on skin in a single pass. Press it down, airbrush or sponge over it, lift it off and your texture is done. The quickest route to a reptile, fantasy or monster skin effect, using your airbrush, a face paint sponge or a finger sponge.
What is the QuickEZ Bubbles stencil?
A reusable face paint stencil made from flexible, semi-transparent 7 mil mylar (approximately 0.18 mm thick).
The designs shown in product photos are examples only. The colour that lands on the skin is entirely your choice, depending on which face paint or body paint you use.
Size: approx. 11.4 x 14 cm, one design per stencil. The tab has a hole so you can hang it on a keyring or stencil rack.
Why pick this stencil?
- Airbrush and manual. The stencil works with your ProAiir Hybrid, ProAiir Ink, Endura and equally well with a sponge and water-activated face paint. You choose the technique that suits the job.
- Fast results. Press down, airbrush or stamp, lift off, done. Perfect when you need to cover a large area with texture quickly during a bodypaint or SFX shoot.
- Reusable. Mylar is durable and flexible. Clean it properly and store it flat and it will last you through many shows and seasons.
- Follows body contours. The mylar is thin and pliable, so it sits neatly against rounded surfaces like upper arms, legs or a décolleté.
How to use the stencil
- Hold the stencil flat against the skin where you want the bubble pattern.
- Spray with the airbrush or dab with a damp face paint sponge.
- Lift the stencil straight up. Do not slide it across the skin or the lines will smear.
Tip for water-activated face paint: keep your sponge damp, not wet. Too much moisture and the paint seeps under the edges, giving you fuzzy lines.
Cleaning and storage
Rinse the stencil after use with lukewarm water and mild soap. Pat it gently dry and lay it flat until it is completely dry. Do not roll or fold it or the mylar will develop permanent creases.
Used ProAiir Hybrid? Rub a thin layer of mild soap into the stencil first, then rinse with lukewarm water. That pulls the alcohol-based paint free from the mylar.
For storage: hang the stencil by the tab hole, or keep it flat between two sheets of paper in a folder.
What can you use it for?
- Bodypaint: Bubbles as a texture layer for reptile, monster or fantasy effects
- SFX and cosplay: Bubbles for skin texture on arms, legs or back
- Theatre and film: Bubbles as costume texture for scales, stone or fantasy skin
- Festivals and photoshoots: Bubbles as a background pattern in a full look
- Workshops and demos: Bubbles to quickly lay down a recognisable pattern
