ProAiir QuickEZ Shooting Stars Stencil
The ProAiir QuickEZ Shooting Stars stencil puts a shower of stars on a cheek, shoulder or decolletage in under a minute. The quickest route to a sparkling cosmic effect without hand-painting every single star. Use it with an airbrush, a makeup sponge or a finger sponge.
What is the QuickEZ Shooting Stars stencil?
A reusable face paint stencil made from flexible, semi-transparent 7 mil mylar (approximately 0.18 mm thick).
The designs shown in the product photos are examples; the colour that lands on the skin is entirely your choice depending on which paint you use.
Size: approx. 11.4 x 14 cm, one Shooting Stars design per stencil. The tab has a hole so you can hang the stencil on a keyring or stencil rack.
Why pick this stencil?
- Airbrush and hand application. Works with ProAiir Hybrid, ProAiir Ink, Endura and regular water-activated face paint. You choose the technique that fits the job.
- Fast results. Press, spray or sponge, lift, done. Brilliant when you have a long queue of faces to get through at a festival or kids party.
- Reusable. Mylar is tough and flexible. Clean it properly and store it flat and it will last you many festivals and shows.
- Follows the shape of the body. The thin, flexible mylar sits snugly against cheeks, shoulders and decolletage without gapping.
How to use the stencil
- Hold the stencil flat against the skin where you want the Shooting Stars to appear.
- Spray with the airbrush or dab with a damp makeup sponge.
- Lift the stencil straight up. Do not slide it across the skin or the edges will smear.
Tip for water-activated face paint: keep your sponge damp, not wet. Too much moisture and the paint bleeds under the edges, making your lines fuzzy.
Cleaning and storage
Rinse the stencil with lukewarm water and mild soap after use. Pat dry gently and leave it lying flat until completely dry. Do not roll or fold it, as the mylar will develop permanent creases.
Used ProAiir Hybrid? Rub a thin layer of mild soap into the stencil first, then rinse with lukewarm water. That loosens the alcohol-based paint from the mylar.
For storage: hang the stencil from the tab hole, or keep it flat between two sheets of paper in a folder.
What can you use it for?
- Festivals and parties: Shooting Stars as a sparkling detail on cheek, shoulder or decolletage.
- Theme parties: Shooting Stars for disco, glamour or cosmic looks.
- Bodypaint: Shooting Stars as a top layer or accent in a fantasy body paint.
- Theatre and film: Shooting Stars for stage effects with movement and shine.
- Kids parties: Shooting Stars as a quick, cheerful makeup decoration.
