ProAiir QuickEZ Flies Stencil
The ProAiir QuickEZ Flies stencil puts a realistic fly motif on skin in seconds. Press it down, airbrush or stamp with a makeup sponge or finger sponge, lift the stencil off, done. The quickest route to a convincing horror look for Halloween, SFX or theatre.
What is the QuickEZ Flies stencil?
A reusable face paint stencil made from flexible, semi-transparent 7 mil mylar (approximately 0.18 mm thick).
The designs shown in the product photos are examples. The colour that lands on the skin is entirely your choice of makeup.
Size: approx. 11.4 x 14 cm, one design per stencil. The tab has a hole so you can hang the stencil on a keyring or stencil rack.
Why pick this stencil?
- Airbrush and hand application. Works with ProAiir Hybrid, ProAiir Ink, Endura and equally well with a sponge and water-activated face paint. You choose the technique that fits the job.
- Fast results. Press, airbrush or stamp, lift, done. Ideal when you have a long queue of faces to work through at a Halloween event or scare attraction.
- Reusable. Mylar is tough and flexible. Clean it well and store it flat, and it will last you many Halloweens.
- Follows the contours of the skin. The thin, flexible mylar lies flush against cheeks, necks and upper arms, even on curved surfaces.
How to use the stencil
- Hold the stencil flat against the skin where you want the fly motif to appear.
- Spray with an airbrush or dab with a damp makeup sponge.
- Lift the stencil straight up. Do not slide it across the skin or the edges will smear.
Tip for water-activated face paint: keep your sponge damp, not wet. Too much moisture and the paint seeps under the edges, making your lines soft and blurry.
Cleaning and storage
Rinse the stencil after use with lukewarm water and mild soap. Pat it gently dry and leave it flat until completely dry. Do not roll or fold it, or the mylar will develop permanent creases.
Used ProAiir Hybrid? Rub a thin layer of mild soap into the stencil first, then rinse with lukewarm water. That loosens the alcohol-based makeup from the mylar.
For storage: hang the stencil from the tab hole, or keep it between two sheets of paper in a flat folder.
