ProAiir QuickEZ Splat 3 Stencil
The ProAiir QuickEZ Splat 3 stencil places a splatter motif on face, neck or arm in one go. Press it down, apply with an airbrush or makeup sponge or finger sponge, lift it off, done. The quickest route to a horror effect that looks professional.
What is the QuickEZ Splat 3 stencil?
A reusable makeup stencil made from flexible, semi-transparent mylar, 7 mil thick (approximately 0.18 mm).
The designs shown in product photos are examples; the colour that lands on the skin is whatever face paint you choose to use.
Size: approx. 11.4 x 14 cm, one design per stencil. The tab has a hole so you can hang the stencil on a keyring or stencil rack.
Why pick this stencil?
- Airbrush and hand application. Works with ProAiir Hybrid, ProAiir Ink, Endura and also with a sponge and water-activated face paint. You choose the technique that suits the job.
- Fast results. Press, airbrush or stamp, lift, done. Perfect when you have a long queue of faces to paint at a Halloween event or party night.
- Reusable. Mylar is durable and flexible. Clean it properly and store it flat and it will last you many Halloweens.
- Follows the contours of the face. The thin, flexible mylar sits close against cheek, forehead, neck or arm without lifting at the edges.
How to use the stencil
- Hold the stencil flat against the skin where you want the splatter motif.
- Spray with the airbrush or dab with a damp makeup sponge.
- Lift the stencil straight up. Do not slide it across the skin or the edges will smear.
Tip for water-activated face paint: keep your sponge damp, not wet. Too much moisture and the paint bleeds under the edges, making your lines go soft.
Cleaning and storage
Rinse the stencil after use with lukewarm water and mild soap. Pat it dry gently and leave it lying flat until completely dry. Do not roll or fold it, as the mylar will develop permanent creases.
Used ProAiir Hybrid? Rub a thin layer of mild soap into the stencil first, then rinse with lukewarm water. That loosens the alcohol-based colour from the mylar.
For storage: hang the stencil on the tab hole or keep it flat between two sheets of paper in a portfolio folder.
