ProAiir QuickEZ Splat 1 Stencil
The ProAiir QuickEZ Splat 1 stencil puts a splat pattern on skin in seconds: press down, apply with an airbrush, makeup sponge or finger sponge, and lift. The quickest route to a horror effect, without freehand drawing.
What is the QuickEZ Splat 1 stencil?
A reusable face paint stencil made from flexible, semi-transparent 7 mil mylar (approximately 0.18 mm thick).
The designs shown in product photos are examples; the colour that lands on the skin is entirely your choice of makeup.
Size: approx. 11.4 x 14 cm, one design per stencil. The tab has a hole so you can hang the stencil on a keyring or stencil rack.
Why pick this stencil?
- Airbrush and hand application. Works with ProAiir Hybrid, ProAiir Ink, Endura and with a sponge and water-activated face paint. You choose the technique that suits the job.
- Fast results. Press, spray or sponge on, lift stencil, done. Perfect when you have a queue of faces to work through at a Halloween event or horror shoot.
- Reusable. Mylar is tough and flexible. Clean it properly and store it flat, and it will last many Halloweens.
- Follows the shape of the body. The thin, flexible mylar sits flush against cheeks, necks and upper arms without buckling.
How to use the stencil
- Hold the stencil flat against the skin where you want the splat motif.
- Spray with the airbrush or dab with a damp makeup sponge.
- Lift the stencil straight up. Do not slide it across the skin or the edges will smear.
Tip for water-activated face paint: keep your sponge damp, not wet. Too much moisture and the paint creeps under the edges, making your lines blurry.
Cleaning and storage
Rinse the stencil with lukewarm water and mild soap after use. Pat dry gently and lay it flat until completely dry. Do not roll or fold it, or the mylar will crease permanently.
Used ProAiir Hybrid? Rub a thin layer of mild soap into the stencil first, then rinse with lukewarm water. That loosens the alcohol-based makeup from the mylar.
For storage: hang the stencil from the tab hole, or keep it flat between two sheets of paper in a folder.
