ProAiir Hybrid Scab is a red-brown airbrush makeup with a light-gloss finish, designed for realistic scab, dried blood and wound effects. Strong pigment coverage, dries in seconds and stays put without smearing or transferring. Developed for use with an airbrush. These colours can also be applied with a sponge or brush.

What is ProAiir Hybrid?

ProAiir Hybrid is made from 100% cosmetic alcohol-blend and high-quality pigments. The formula contains no water.

This means better bonding, no pigment separation and a shelf life of up to 5 years in an unopened bottle.

Scab is the go-to colour for wound crusts and dried blood effects. Layer it over or alongside Blood Red for a convincingly healing wound. Made in USA.

How to apply ProAiir Hybrid Scab

Shake the bottle before use.

With an airbrush: fill the cup or side-feed using an Easy Pour Twist Cap or Snorkel Adapter. Set air pressure to a low to medium level - around 20 to 30 PSI for pros. Hold your airbrush roughly 5 cm from the skin for sharp lines, further away for soft coverage. By hand: dab a small amount onto a sponge, kabuki brush, makeup brush or fineliner brush and build up in thin layers. Once dry - within seconds - the makeup is smudge-proof and waterproof.

Setting and removing

Removal takes about 2 minutes and need not irritate the skin.

No setting product is needed. The drying process makes the makeup smudge-proof and waterproof on its own. If you want extra hold or a glossy finish, use ProLong or ProLong Satin. To remove, apply pure liquid soap without water. Massage into the skin, wipe off with a face cloth or baby wipe, then rinse with water. Removers for Alcohol Activated makeup also work well, such as Mouldlife Life Wipes or Ben Nye Remov-it All.

For SFX work and mid-session corrections, alcohol on a cotton swab is the fastest option.
