The Woochie Latex Werewolf Face is a latex character set by Woochie for a complete werewolf look on the face. Apply the pieces, paint them in and your horror, Halloween or SFX look is complete.

What is the Werewolf Face?

A latex character set shaped as werewolf facial pieces: brow ridges, nose and other accents that together create a full werewolf transformation. The edges are thinly finished so they blend seamlessly into the skin. Remove the pieces carefully after use, clean them and store them dry - that way you can use the set multiple times.

Why does this prosthetic work so well?

No moulding, no waiting for drying time, no liquid latex to build up layer by layer. The shape is already there. Your work is in blending the edges and painting. That is where you make the difference.

How do you apply the Werewolf Face?

Hold each piece dry against your face first to find the right position for every part. Do this before you apply any adhesive.

Apply a thin layer of skin adhesive to both the back of each piece and your skin. Pros-Aide is the standard choice for long-lasting hold; for a quicker fix you can also use spirit gum. Let the adhesive become tacky before pressing each piece onto the skin.

Press each piece firmly from the centre outward to the edges. Blend the edges with liquid latex or Pros-Aide Cream. Several thin layers give the smoothest transition. Dust the edges well with setting powder before you start painting the prosthetic.

Painting

Colour the set using water-activated face paint, greasepaint or alcohol-activated makeup (such as Encore palettes). Work in thin layers. Start with a skin-tone base across the whole prosthetic, then build darker grey-brown shadows into the grooves and wrinkles, and add lighter highlights on the raised areas for believable depth.

Setting and removal

Set your colour work with setting powder so nothing smudges. To remove, work a Pros-Aide remover such as Mouldlife Life Wipes, Ben Nye Remove it All or Pro-clean cleansing Oil under the edges, lift the pieces carefully and rinse the skin with lukewarm water.
