What is Spray & Stay Blood Classic?

Spray & Stay Blood is fake blood that dries after application. The spray mechanism spreads blood quickly across a large surface, then it sets to a smudge-proof layer. No bleeding between takes, no transfer onto costumes or props.

Classic has a rich orange-red tone and works as the go-to colour for fresh wounds and drip trails. Not too bright, not too dark. No pink undertone, even in contact with water.

How to apply Spray & Stay Classic

Spray directly onto the surface and allow to dry. For a controlled drip trail, hold the bottle at an angle and spray from top to bottom. To place blood on a precise spot, dip a brush or make-up sponge into the blood and apply directly.

For wounds with more structure and depth, combine Spray & Stay Classic with a thicker texture such as Form Gel Classic or Slow-Flo Classic.

Setting and removing

Spray & Stay dries in the air after application. Once set, the blood is smudge-proof and needs no additional fixative.

From skin: lukewarm water with a little soap removes it easily. The water reactivates the dried blood so it wipes straight off.

From fabric: soak the fabric in water at around 30 degrees with detergent for a while. Rinse under the tap, then wash in the machine on a 30-degree programme.

From surfaces: non-porous surfaces just need washing and rinsing; porous surfaces may need a cleaning product or household bleach.
