What is Slash & Spray Blood Bright?

Slash & Spray Blood is a liquid fake blood in a spray-cap bottle. You spray it directly onto skin, clothing or props for a wide splatter effect or splatter shot. Once applied, it dries to a congealed blood effect.

The Bright colour is an intense vermilion red. Vivid and fresh in tone, which makes it ideal for low-light settings and blood from the lungs. No pink undertone, even when in contact with water.

How to apply Slash & Spray Bright

Spray directly from the bottle onto the surface you want to cover. For splatter on clothing or a wound: hold the bottle 20 to 40 centimetres away and press the cap briefly. For more control over direction and pattern, use a brush or a make-up sponge to work the blood further.

For wounds with more depth, combine with a thicker texture such as Slow-Flo Bright or Form Gel Bright.

Setting and removing

Slash & Spray dries in the air to a congealed blood effect. If you want it to look drier before a scene starts, gently blot with a paper tissue.

From skin: lukewarm water with a little soap removes the blood easily. The water redissolves the dried blood so it comes straight off.

From fabric: soak the fabric for a while in water at around 30 degrees with detergent. Then rinse under the tap and machine wash on a 30-degree programme.

From surfaces: non-porous surfaces just need washing and rinsing; porous surfaces may need a cleaning agent or household bleach.
