What is Slash & Spray Blood Dried?

Slash & Spray Blood Dried is a liquid splatter blood in a spray bottle with a spray nozzle. Use it for wide blood fields, splatter shots and slash-wound spatter across a larger surface. Once applied, it dries down further to a congealed, old-blood effect - making it look like blood that has been on the skin for a while.

The Dried shade is a deep brown-red. Browner and older-looking than Dark, with the colour of blood that has already started to dry. Ideal for older wounds, scab edges and scenes where the blood is no longer fresh. Where Bright and Classic suggest fresh, vivid blood, Dried reads as an older injury. No pink undertone, even when diluted with water.

How to apply Slash & Spray Dried

Spray directly from the bottle onto skin, clothing or a set surface. Hold the bottle further away for a fine splatter pattern, or closer for a concentrated blood trail. For more controlled application, use a brush or make-up sponge.

Combine with a thicker texture in the same Dried colour for older wounds with visible depth, such as Slow-Flo Dried for congealing blood or Contour Gel Dried for wound contouring.

Setting and removing

Slash & Spray Blood dries in the air to a congealed, old-blood effect. Pat gently with a paper towel if you want to speed up the drying process.

From skin: lukewarm water with a little soap removes the blood easily. The water dissolves the dried blood so it comes off straight away.

From fabric: soak the fabric for a while in water at around 30 degrees with washing detergent. Rinse under the tap, then wash in the washing machine at 30 degrees.

From surfaces: non-porous surfaces just need washing and rinsing; porous surfaces may need a cleaning product or household bleach.
